Puzzle Peace Counseling presents HEALing Families Groups
Our groups are underwritten by a grant from the HEAL Foundation which either reduces the cost or allows us to offer partial and full scholarships to those in need.
If you have a neurodivergent partner, you are not alone.
Our new Love Beyond Labels group is here to help!

An in-person therapeutic support group for spouses/partners of neurodivergent folks.
Led by Janeen Herskovitz, LMHC & Katherine Scott, LMFT
About the group
- If you are the partner of someone with autism or another neurodivergent trait such as ADHD, sensory processing disorder or learning disabilities, you know that life can be a bit more challenging than an average family. We address those concerns and help you understand your loved one better so you can re-connect and improve your relationship with them.
- Led by 2 licensed therapists with over two decades professional and lived experience.
- Make some time just for YOU, and have an entire hour just for YOUR needs. (When is the last time THAT happened?)
- Group therapy is fraction of the cost of one-on-one therapy, with similar benefits. 100% confidential.
- Meet others who are struggling with the same issues you are. The group is designed according to YOUR personal needs and issues.
Some of the issues we cover include (but are not limited to):
- Understanding your loved one better
- How to navigate misunderstandings
- Find out why you keep having the same arguments over and over
- Handling meltdowns and shutdowns
- Communicating and connecting with your loved one

Love Beyond Labels Group Registration
Social Connections Group For ND Teens

Registration for this group is currently CLOSED. Our next group will resume after the new year.
About the group
Previously known as our “social skills” group, we have changed the name to more accurately reflect what we teach. This group is for neurodivergent/ autistic 11-16 year-olds who want to explore friendships and connections with others who are like them.
We do not believe in “teaching” neurodivergent individuals how to be more like their neuro-normative peers. Instead, we help ND and autistic adolescents make connections and friendships on their terms, as well as help them understand and navigate some of the challenges that come with socializing in today’s world.
We utilize a curriculum that has been designed by our Assistant Clinical Director, Katherine Scott, LMFT.
Who:
Neurodivergent and autistic 11-16 year-olds (this can include but is not limited to those with ADHD, NLVD, Sensory Processing Issues, and other learning disabilities)
