How I Can Relate
Growing up with mental illness close to my family, I learned early how behavior differences and emotional challenges can shape one’s life. I took an early interest in observing behaviors of family members and friends that were experiencing what I know today as behavior differences.
I have always been the go-to person for family members, friends, and associates that needed or wanted advice. I have also assisted with providing resources, guidance on life, or just to be a listening ear. I have worked with children and adults in childcare and counseling. I have worked with youth and adults with mental and behavioral differences in many capacities from education (IEP/504 plans) as well as helping people of all abilities gain employment and learn how to adapt in today’s workplace while advocating for themselves.
I currently hold a B.A Degree in Business Administration, I have been certified as a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor through the Department of Education.
