Life can be overwhelming, and I am here to help you make sense of it- with compassion and without judgement. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges and build lasting tools for change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and loved ones of neurodivergent individuals. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Florida and my Masters and Specialist degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgemental space for my clients using a multicultural, trauma-informed lens in order to help facilitate creating the change you want to see in your life. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, specifically those holding LGBTQ+ identities.
I use a person-centered, collaborative approach and believe in individually tailoring my approach to fit each client, however tend to gravitate towards modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also frequently utilize attachment theory and mindfulness principles in my therapeutic work.
