New to the Autism Diagnosis
If you’ve received an autism diagnosis for your child, a loved one, or yourself, you may be feeling overwhelmed. Let us help you navigate the adjustment and provide tools you can use.
Adult Diagnosis
If you’re an adult who has been recently diagnosed with autism, you may not be sure where to begin.
If you are questioning what this means for you, and don’t know what you don’t know, we can help!
If you’re undiagnosed and aren’t sure where to go, you’ve come to the right place.
Our marriage and family therapist, Katherine Scott, is trained in assessment of older teens and adults. Autism can present a bit differently in women, and we’ve got you covered there as well.
Parent Coaching + Counseling
We help autism spectrum parents and neurodivergent families every day. Whether it’s dealing with grief, managing stress or strengthening your marriage, we can help. Parent Coaching can provide you with tools and strategies you can use. Sessions can be in person or telehealth.
Educational Advocacy/IEP Support
Your child’s education is as important to us as it is to you. We can help guide you through the educational maze, assist you in creating an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with your school’s team, and even attend IEP meetings with you to advocate on your child’s behalf. Check out more about our services here.
For Special Siblings
We’ve witnessed families creating stronger bonds in spite of their challenges, and siblings come to terms with their unique lives and challenges.
A happier home means a healthier environment where your child can thrive.
Group Therapy
Social skills and parent groups are available throughout the year. Check out our group page for the latest offerings.

For People on the Autism Spectrum/Neurodivergent Individuals
We value your need to to heard, understood and believed.
Many people with autism spectrum disorder have difficulty expressing themselves. And those who can express themselves verbally often have trouble identifying and processing their feelings. But they still need a place where they can receive counseling, be validated for who they are, and experience personal growth. In the world of autism, where so much is difficult, we try to make the process of therapy a little bit easier.
Autistic & Neurodivergent Adults
If you’ve felt “different” all your life and have been diagnosed in adolescence or adulthood, you may not know where to start. Perhaps you were evaluated and don’t “qualify for” an autism diagnosis. Now what?
We understand the unique challenges you face and can help with the emotional and sensory challenges, employment support, and relationship difficulties that often accompany a ‘later-in-life’ diagnosis.
We Understand Your Family
We know you spend a great deal of time running to lots of therapies to help your child: speech, occupational, behavioral, physical…so many you couldn’t even imagine going to one more therapist.
But at Puzzle Peace, we’ve seen children and adults on the spectrum blossom even more in those therapies after treatment with us.
